Pinnacle Entertainment continues to grow its family of resorts and casinos, and has one of the strongest development pipelines in the industry. By developing new projects and reinvesting in its existing properties, Pinnacle is building a national network of gaming properties designed to leverage its operating and marketing strength.
River City Casino & Hotel
St. Louis County Project
With a location between two important and historical rivers in St. Louis, Missouri, the planned River City Casino & Hotel will bring even more excitement to the city with a gaming and multi-use complex that will include restaurants, an entertainment venue and other amenities.
The site straddles the frontier between the County and the City of St. Louis. Overlooking the Mississippi River, the site rests just south of the confluence of the Mississippi and the River des Peres in one of the most densely populated parts of the St. Louis region.
River City is expected to open in 2009, pending receipt of regulatory and other approvals.

Sugarcane Bay
Sugarcane Bay, located adjacent to our successful L’Auberge du Lac resort in Lake Charles, will offer guests the atmosphere of a posh island getaway. Sugarcane Bay will feature a state-of-the-art dockside casino with approximately 1,500 slot machines and 50 table games; an upscale 400-guestroom hotel; an enticing mix of restaurants; a full-service spa and other amenities.
Guests will see Sugarcane Bay and L’Auberge du Lac as sister resorts with different themes. From an operating perspective, however, the properties will enjoy economies of scale and many operating efficiencies from their back-of-the-house connection.
Rivière, Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge welcomed our latest project with a decisive local referendum vote in February 2008. Rivière, which means “river” in French, will bring a true gaming entertainment destination to the Pelican State’s fastest-growing city.
Rivière’s first phase, which represents an estimated investment of $250 million, includes a modern single-deck riverboat casino with approximately 1,500 slot machines and 50 table games. An entertainment venue will host top-name talent, live music and other attractions, while a 100-guestroom hotel will offer an upscale respite from the casino excitement. An array of restaurants and lounges will offer diners a sweeping view of the Mississippi River. The project will be located on more than 550 acres that Pinnacle owns in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Atlantic City Project
Pinnacle Entertainment purchased the Sands Casino & Hotel and Traymore Hotel sites in famed Atlantic City, New Jersey with plans to build a spectacular new resort. With approximately 22 prime acres in the heart of Atlantic City, including extensive frontage along the Boardwalk, the new resort would be among the largest in the region.
